Cranium & Penises

Did I mention I had a birthday last week? I initially wanted to have a lowrider party where everyone could dress up as their favorite gang member and I could decorate with graffiti and mother marys, maybe rent a pit bull. However, realizing I'm more of a dreamer than a planner, I settled for margaritas & tacos. The night began with a racuous game of Cranium. Here I am attempting to hum a song for my team members to guess: And here is Ron being amazed a person can be so tone deaf:

Next, we had a grand idea to take the party international and logged onto Chat Roulette. It's a relatively new site and the concept is simple- turn on your webcam, go to the site, and randomly get paired with anyone else logged onto the site from around the world. Such a simple and innocent concept- or maybe that's just me. Well, let me tell you, after 10 minutes on the site I was innocent no more! Evidently, there are many penises around the world that are very lonely and want to chat. Who knew?! I guess penises have feelings, too.

Eventually, we did end up chatting with a guy in Israel with a penchant for neon posters. He would bring them up to the webcam so we could admire them fully. We also learned he is a fan of cheesesteaks.

And then I logged onto Lurid Digs. And surprisingly, everyone went home.

How Staying at my Friend's Place made me feel as if I was in a Bad 1970s Horror Movie

We stayed at a friend's place in Brooklyn recently and this was on the bookshelf in our room: A little odd, right? Though I like that it says "with" and not "on."

They also had this prominently displayed:
I fear there's a reason that gnome is sticking his finger in the air, and I'm positive I don't want to know why.

Tapper is my new favorite game

In the game, you're a bartender and you have to serve everyone at an ever quickening pace without letting any empty mugs smash to the ground. It's intense (just look at my face)! And I will always have a soft spot for cheesy 80s graphics. Here's me playing at Barcade in Brooklyn:
